Services: Maintenance Audit at Bristol , Southampton & Basildon
The existing contract and procedures was initially reviewed and preliminary findings reported to our client.
In consultation with our client a representative sample of the property portfolio was selected for audit.


Audits took place at three sites to check the accuracy of the asset registers in-conjunction with a visual inspection of the mechanical and electrical services and also building fabric. Spot checks were made on the maintenance providers records and procedures to see if these were appropriate and being followed on site.
A report was provided to the client with our findings and recommendations for improving the standard of maintenance, particularly in support of the client’s key business operations. These included recommended actions both for the contractor as well as the client, together with options for prioritising maintenance in order to reduce costs. Developing the maintenance contract in this way averted the need to re-tender.
