Acting for the landlord, we can undertake interim schedules of dilapidations during the course of a lease and terminal schedules for serving on tenants or at the end of a lease.
Acting on behalf of tenants, we can advise regarding dilapidations claims which have been served and undertake negotiations to reduce the level of claim and advise on settlement.
We can also assist tenants with dilapidations assessments and accruals during the course of the lease, as well as implementing dilapidations works in order to comply with lease obligations and to reduce the impact of a potential claim at the end of a lease. Dilapidations accruals can be set off against corporation tax.
